Deep Tissue Massage

60 minutes: $90
90 minutes: $125

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

HOT STONES

Hot Stone Therapy is a type of massage that involves placing heated stones on specific body areas to enhance relaxation and improve muscle circulation. The warmth from the stones helps release tension and stress more effectively and quickly than a traditional massage. The overall experience is soothing, nurturing, and revitalizing.

***Precautions*** - While hot stone massages are beneficial, there are some situations where you should not get one. Children, pregnant women, and cardiac patients should not get one. If you are considered an elderly client, let your massage therapist know before so they can set the stones to the correct temperature.

Experience Loss of Sensation- Do not get a hot stone massage if you have a condition that causes loss of sensation, such as neuropathy, diabetes, high blood pressure, and peripheral vascular disorder. This also applies to the post-surgery, injury, or trauma period if nerves were affected.

Take Certain Medications-Before getting a hot stone massage, consider the medications that you regularly take. Avoid these treatments if you are on blood thinners and if any of your medications have heat-related side effects.

Have a Depressed Immune System- While hot stone massages can help you feel restored, they are not recommended if you have a depressed immune system. If you have lupus, mononucleosis, Epstein Barr, or cancer, consult with your doctor before scheduling.

Have a Skin Condition- The added heat of a hot stone treatment can irritate many skin conditions. These include burns, skin cancer, psoriasis, dermatitis, acne, eczema, and shingles. This also applies if you have any areas of weakened or inflamed skin.

Recently Had Surgery or Treatments- While hot stone massages can relieve pain, you should not get one if you recently underwent surgery. This also applies if you recently underwent chemotherapy or any other radiation treatment.

If you have any other medical conditions that make you unsure if a hot stone treatment is safe for you, it is best to consult with your doctor.

CUPPING

Cupping therapy is an ancient healing method that may help alleviate back pain, neck pain, headaches, and other ailments. This technique utilizes suction to lift the skin, increasing blood flow to the affected area. Cupping enhances circulation in the regions where the cups are placed, which can relieve muscle tension, improve overall blood flow, and promote cell repair. Additionally, it may assist in the formation of new connective tissues and the development of new blood vessels in the targeted tissue.

***Risks*** - Cupping can cause temporary "bruise-like" skin discoloration and skin infection. Risks are generally low.

DRY BRUSHING

Dry brushing is a technique that gently supports your body's natural detoxification processes, enhances skin health, and feels wonderful. Some benefits of dry brushing include improved circulation, stimulated lymph flow, reduced appearance of cellulite, cleared pores, removal of dead skin cells, support for digestion, and stress relief.

***PRECAUTIONS***- Avoid dry brushing skin affected by eczema, psoriasis, acne, infection, sunburn, cancer, moles, warts, and open wounds.

Corporate Chair Massage

Chair massage is a convenient and popular way to relieve stress and unwind, whether you're at home, in the workplace or at a wellness event. During the session, you will be seated in a specialized ergonomic chair that I will bring to your location. One of the distinct advantages of chair massage is that it is performed over your clothing, allowing you to avoid any discomfort or awkwardness associated with undressing for a traditional massage. Additionally, chair massage sessions are typically shorter than traditional massages, making it easy to fit them into your busy schedule.

Session times vary from 5 minutes to 30 minutes.

Pricing varies and does not include tax or gratuity.
